The 9th Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists (APCYS) will be held in conjunction with Faculty of Information Technology and Sciences, Parahyangan Catholic University and Center for Young Scientists Indonesia. The aim of the conference is to promote and foster the atmosphere of scientific research amongst secondary school students in the Asia-Pacific region by providing opportunities to share their research findings. The students shall submit projects in one of these categories: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Environmental Science, and Life Sciences. The participation of countries is based on the invitation to the representative of the country.

A tradition of APCYS, the Cultural Program is an event where the participants from each country show everyone something unique about their culture. In the typical in-person setting, participants would go up to the stage to sing, dance, do a presentation, etc. Students will meet virtually on a digital platform in a Cultural Program.
